GREEN VS TAN — PRIVACY POLICY

Corkscrew Games · Effective July 25, 2026 · Updated August 13, 2026

Green vs Tan ("the game") is made by Corkscrew Games. This policy covers the game at playgvt.net and its iOS and other app editions, which all play the same game.

What we collect

The game creates a random player identifier on your device the first time you play — it is not tied to your name, email, or any real-world identity. Alongside it we store the commander name you pick (or that the game generates), your game results (rank, level, stars, campaign progress, battleground wins and losses, medals), and your chosen army color. That's the whole list. We don't collect your email, contacts, location, or device advertising identifiers, and the game has no ads and no tracking.

Signing in is optional

The game is fully playable with no account at all. If you choose to use Sign in with Apple, we store only the anonymous identifier Apple gives us, so the same army follows you to another device. We never receive your password, and we do not ask Apple for your email or your name.

Where it lives and why

Your identifier, name, and results are stored on our own game server in the United States so that World Rankings, co-op battles, and challenges work. During online play other players see only your commander name, your army color, and your in-game actions.

Playing with other people

Co-op battles and private rooms are joined with a short room code. There is no chat and no way to type free-form messages to other players — the only thing you can send another commander is a challenge to a battle.

Keeping the game safe

To protect the game from abuse (things like flooding our server or cheating), the server keeps short-lived security logs that can include a device's random identifier and its network (IP) address. These are used only for security and rate limiting — never for advertising, profiling, or tracking — and are kept for up to 90 days. If you report a player's name in the game, we keep a moderation record of that report (the two player identifiers and the name that was showing) so a human can review it and fix the name if needed; reporter identifiers are removed from those records after 90 days.

Purchases

There are no in-app purchases. Stars are earned by playing and spent at Sarge's Surplus inside the game.

Your choices

The game works without an account and without any personal information. To reset your identity, clear the site data for playgvt.net in your browser (or delete and reinstall the app) — a fresh commander is minted on your next visit. To have your name and results deleted from the World Rankings entirely, email us with your commander name and we'll remove the record.

Children

Beyond the random identifiers described above, the game does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. There is no chat and no way to enter personal details in the game.
